Went to Pollok Park recently and was very impressed, had a great day out with lots to do both indoor and outdoor. Kids had a great time and were very excited to get the opportunity to go on the Dray rides! Would strongly recommend for all, whether you have children or just fancy going for a walk in beautiful surrounds – well worth a visit!

There is no better place in Glasgow for a day out on a crisp autumn day than Pollok Park. We arrived with bikes and scooters for our 2 kids and walk through the wooded area leading to Pollok house trying to keep up with one and hurry the other one along. Its a fabulous park always busling with kids and dog-walkers. Today we are off to see the horses in the stables much to my son’s excitment (having managed – just – to drag him away from the swingpark by the Burrell Collection). We have a good chat with Baron and Duke before wishing them goodbye and heading back for a look at the waterfall and the cycle back to the car.
A day or afternoon here is can be so varied, visiting Pollok House or the Burrell collection, playing in the swing park or walking along admiring the highland cows – whatever you do, it never disappoints.

I went to Pollock park with my sister yesterday. Even though a lot of the things were closed, like the horses and the garden, we went a walk and had great fun. We even found some frogs and got some really good pictures of them.
