At 200m long, Sno!zone at Xscape Braehead contains the UK’s longest real snow ski hill.

It is comprised of 1,700 tonnes of fresh, real snow, and has 2 poma lifts.  For the less experienced, there is also smaller hill which lets beginners and novices build their skills and confidence before hitting the big slope.  This smaller slope is also used for tobogganing.  Ski and snowboarding lessons are available either on a one to one basis or as a group.

Make sure you wrap up warm though, as the temperature is kept at a steady -3 to -5 degrees to keep that snow just perfect!

If you prefer the Après Ski to the actual skiing, there is a Sno!bar overlooking the hills where you can relax with a coffee while watching the kids (and big kids) expend their excess energy.  At night, the Sno!bar transforms into a nightclub with regular events and live DJ’s.
